Bloomberg quoted Delo citing a person with knowledge of the matter said that VAT Dniprospetstal a Ukrainian electric steel producer may cut 1,000 jobs in the Q2 of this year.

The newspaper said the company’s mill in Zaporizhzhya, Ukraine, employs 8,000 people and is working on a four day week. Dniprospetstal cut production 59.4% in Q1 this year compared with the same period a year earlier.
