Ukrainian Journal quoted Mr Volodymyr Makukha deputy energy and coal industry ministry said the government has given up the idea of canceling value added tax on imports of crude oil to Ukraine for processing at Ukrainian oil refineries.

He said that "The Finance Ministry and the Economy Ministry have criticized the tax-free imports and we've decided that the issue is to be withdrawn as they don't support us."
