It is reported that the state run company Green Energo, which is operating as part of the Energy of Nature national project, is planning to build a combined heat and power plant in Kiev region that will consume biofuel.

Mr Rostyslav Maraikin head of the bio energy direction of the project said that "We're planning to build a combined heat and power plant in Kiev region with an electricity generating capacity of around 2 MWs and a heat generating capacity of around 10 MWs."
