KLW Wheelco which sells railway wheel products under the KLW brand for international markets has received a management certificate of quality control under the ISO 9001:2008 standard with a value period of three years. The certification was given by the TUV Rheinland Ukraine Company during KLW annual clients’ conference “KLW. Thinking ahead winning globally that took place in Antalya Turkey, from October 15th to 18th.

Mr Michael Iskov the Director for Railway Wheels Sales at Interpipe said “It is an honor for us to receive the quality certificate under the ISO 9001:2008 standard as it is extremely beneficial for our customers. Our next step will be the certification of our wheels business at Interpipe according to the IRIS standard. The first audit stage has been successfully passed the second one is planned for October 2010.”

More than 80 representatives of large Ukrainian and International railway companies and rolling-stock producers participated at the annual KLW clients’ conference KLW. Mr Duncan Pell executives from the senior management team at Interpipe, Commercial Director and Director for Railway Wheels Sales Mr Michael Iskov and the Director for Corporate Affairs Mr Oleg Kuzmin made speeches at the plenary meetings. During the presentations, the development of the railway wheels sector was discussed alongside KLW strategy and progress.
