According to Mr L Fedun vice president of LUKOIL, the company can attract ALROSA as a partner for the development of the diamond deposits.

He said that there only several companies in the world which can become the LUKOIL partners in the diamond business. The most probable out of them is ALROSA.

LUKOIL keeps the V.Grob's diamond deposit in Arkhangelsky region. In 2009 Arkhangelskoe Prospecting Entity and FORACO signed the contract on the wells drilling in order to appraise the amount and quality of the reserves.

LUKOIL is rated as the second oil producer in Russia. In 2008 the output reached 90.2 million tonnes of the crude. The share capital is worth RUB 21264081.375. There are 850563255 common stocks of RUB 0.025 par under circulation.
