Moldavian Metallurgical Plant has announced its production results for the January to July period of the current year.

MMZ produced 161,081 tonnes of crude steel and 187,521 tonnes of rolled steel products, including 53,182 tonnes of wire rod and 134,339 tonnes of rebar.

MMZ January to July 2009 deliveries amounted to 187,326 tonnes including 85,785 tonnes to non CIS countries and 101,541 tonnes to CIS countries.

The producer’s deliveries of special grade steel products amounted to 17,053 tonnes during the period in question.

In July 2009 MMZ produced 24,867 tonnes of crude steel and 23,099 tonnes of finished steel products including 15,327 tonnes of rebar and 7,772 tonnes of wire rod.

MMZ July deliveries amounted to 41,250 tonnes including 5,181 tonnes of special grade steel products.
