It is reported that Moldavian Metallurgical Plant has announced its production results for the January to October period of the current year.

During the period in question, MMZ produced 325,515 tonnes of steel billets down by 59%YoY and 338,736 tonnes of finished steel products down by 54% YoY. MMZ deliveries in the first ten months decreased by 55%YoY to 328,434 tonnes including 166,823 tonnes to non-CIS countries and 161,611 tonnes to CIS countries. The producer deliveries of special grade steel products amounted to 44,941 tonnes during the period in question.

In October 2009 MMZ produced 73,172 tonnes of steel billets and 65,638 tonnes of finished steel products including 28,647 tonnes of bars and 36,991 tonnes of rods.

MMZ's October deliveries amounted to 55,357 tonnes including 30,605 tonnes to non-CIS countries and 24,752 tonnes to CIS countries.
