
According to experts from the Accounting Chamber, the growth of Ukraine's gross domestic product in January to March 2011 was 5.7%.
The fulfillment of the national budget in the first quarter of 2011 took place under conditions of economic revival. The growth of real GDP, according to the Accounting Chamber was 5.7%."
However, the report notes that the growth in economic activity was not accompanied by corresponding improvements in the labor market: the number of registered unemployed in January to March grew by 12.6%.
Along with this, according to the chamber in defiance of the law, Q3 of state enterprises that are natural monopolies in the first quarter of 2011 operated without approved financial plans which significantly restricted the state's ability to oversee their activities.
