Interfax Ukraine cited Mr Oleksandr Shlapak first deputy head presidential secretariat as saying that the Ukrainian Economy Ministry forecasts a 5% decline in GDP in 2009
He said that "The Economy Ministry now forecasts a 5% minus for 2009."
At the same time, according to Mr Shlapak, this forecast hasn't been ratified by the government yet.
