JSC Holding Company Metalloinvest announces that an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders was held on December 28, 2011.

The Company’s EGM approved decisions on the issue of seven series of non convertible interest bearing documentary bonds payable to bearer and on the corresponding securities prospectus.

The company is planning to submit the documents to the Federal Service for Financial Markets (FSFM Russia) to get official registration of all the seven series of non-convertible interest-bearing documentary bonds with the maturity date on the three thousand six hundred and fortieth day from the start date of placement, four series with total par value of RUB 5 billion each and three series with total par value of RUB 10 billion each.

The registration empowers the company to place the bonds by public subscription within the year 2012. The decision on the timing of the placement will be taken by the Company separately.
