According to the data issued by the Ukrainian iron ore and steel producer Metinvest Holding, in March this year its subsidiary Khartsyzsk Pipe Works increased its large diameter pipe output to 11,890 tonnes from just 353 tonnes in February.

In January to March this year, KhPW produced 31,124 tonnes of LD pipes down 79.2%YoY when the plant produced 149,809 tonnes of LD pipes.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, in February KhPW had almost stopped its production. Nevertheless, Metinvest said that its low output recorded in February was in line with its production plan.
