It is reported that in August this year, Moldavian Metallurgical Works a steelmaker based in the Transnistrian region of Moldova produced 42,969 tonnes of crude steel and 48,895 tonnes of rolled steel including 28,516 tonnes of reinforcing bar and 20,379 tonnes of rod.

In September, MMZ plans to produce 59,000 tonnes of crude steel and 54,151 tonnes of rolled steel.
