It is reported that the steel export market at Black Sea remained weak and the trend is still downwards.
Billet price decreased further by USD 10 per tonne to USD 20 per tonne. As per market reports, many producers are still offering higher than USD 610 per tonne FOB but it is clear that the trades are happening below USD 600 per tonne FOB and not only in small lots. It is rumored that a big players has already contracted at USD 590 per tonne to USD 595 per tonne FOB.
However the trend for finished longs was not so clear as the most proposals were still close or even higher than USD 700 per tonne FOB. But the same time deals for rebar reported below USD 660 per tonne and wire rod even from big suppliers was rumored at USD 685 per tonne.
Finished flats decreased further by USD 10 per tonne to USD 20 per tonne.
