
The CIS steel market is still stagnating. On one hand there is poor demand and economic volatility, on the other huge resistance from suppliers that are cutting offered volume under pressure of production costs.
Billet price continued to gradually go down last week. Finished longs are also decreased under the same trend.
Finished flats faced controversial trends. While the Ukrainian mills maintained their prices for HRC, Russian offers came to the normal ratio with the Ukrainian products.
