The CIS export market for steel long products including billet was rather stable last week, while flats prices were still stagnating and rapidly decreasing for plate.
Billet prices were stable as buying activity improved a bit. The most players still offer December production.
Finished longs market is slower, but prices were generally also stable. A few deals were reported. The price balance is really tight, therefore future trend is not clear yet.
Finished flats market was weak as buyer’s activity was low and the prices were stagnating. The market situation was not stable at all there is a potential of further declines depending on the principal positions of sellers.
