
OMK President Vladimir Markin took part in the Second Congress of Railway Workers which was held November 18-19 in Moscow. The main attention was paid to the delegates of the strategic objectives of the Russian railways in the context of socio economic interests of the state and meets the growing needs of the economy in freight and passenger traffic, improving the railways, the introduction of innovations.
As part of the Congress Vyksa was awarded a diploma of the annual traditional contest of Railways for a better quality of rolling stock and sophisticated engineering systems in the category Quality of locomotives.
Mr Vladimir Markin president of OMK said "OMK has presented on a new competition for our market products, rolled Centers for locomotives. This is unique products that have great promise to replace the use of cast centers. They greatly increase the safety of rail traffic. UMC is ready to fully meet the needs of Railways in this kind of product."
The competition was aimed at increasing the degree of compliance of products used by Russian Railways, the modern technical requirements and reduced life cycle cost of the operation, reliability and product quality. The competition was held in three
