It is reported that Mr Viktor Yanukovych President of Ukraine will soon submit for ratification to the Verkhovna Rada the agreement on a free trade zone within the Commonwealth of Independent States.

As reported, the prime ministers of the CIS countries signed the agreement on a free trade zone in St. Petersburg on October 18 2011.On the same day, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mr Mykola Azarov expressed hope that the signed agreement on a free trade zone within the CIS will come into force in January 2012.
