It is reported that Novosibirsk Metallurgical Works named after Kuzmin a subsidiary of the Russian steel producer ESTAR Holding currently under the control of Russia largest metal trader Metallservis Group in H1 of the current year it increased its steel product output by 3.9 times compared to H1 2009 and by 3.7% compared to H2 to 72,325 tonnes.

Mr Vladimir Shamraev NMZK production director said "Reducing the dependence on seasonal factors and aiming to expand its sales, since the beginning of the current year NMZK has developed the production of 23 new types of products. In total, since the transfer of the plant under the management of Metallservis MZK's product range more than doubled from 64 to 130 types of products with strong demand."

He said that during the first six months of this year NMZK was able to restore the connection with its traditional buyers which was lost during the idle period last year. In June in particular, NMZK increased its steel product supply to non-CIS countries.
