Interfax reported that Ukraine national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrainy sold 29.396 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January to August up by 0.1%YoY.

According to Energy and Coal Industry Ministry figures, the value of the gas it sold during the eight months was UAH 55.479 billion up by 36.1%YoY.

The level of payment by all categories of natural gas consumers was 83.9% for the period versus 85.8% for the same eight months last year.

Naftogaz Ukrainy sold industrial enterprises and power companies 10.885 bcm of gas for UAH 35.794 billion, utilities companies 6.901 billion cubic meters for UAH 12.449 billion, households 11.004 billion cubic meters for UAH 5.566 billion and public-sector organizations 588.6 million cubic meters for UAH 1.645 billion.

As reported, Naftogaz Ukrainy increased natural gas sales 20.4% last year to 46.053 billion cubic meters.
