It is reported that the State National Company Naftogaz Ukraine has made an offer to Privat Group to sign a partnership agreement.

Naftogaz Ukraine is going to support the candidate nominated by Privat Group for the position of the Company Board chairman and to consider the matter of raising the prices for natural gas in March 2010 in exchange for a dividend payout out for 2006 to 2008 in the amount of about UAH 4.9 billion.

According to Millennium Capital analyst “We do not know the reaction of Privat Group to this proposal. But it has increased automatically chances for an extraordinary EGM which, in its turn, is to raise substantially the investment attractiveness of UNAF stocks.”
