JSC Inprom announced that the fist decade of March 2009 was marked by equipping Izhevsk and Samara branches with contemporary CNC-machines for sheets and plates cutting, namely, an Italian guillotine COLGAR.

Mr Artur Ilyin operations director of JSC INPROM said "First guillotine lines were delivered to the regional branches of JSC INPROM in 2005 and for the last three years lines of the kind have been installed at all our steel service centers. Flat products cutting are in high demand for the time being. At our centers we cut large sheets and plates up to 3 meters in length and from 1 to 20 mm in gage. We can boast of minimum cutting imprecision and high quality cut-surface."

This spring, installation and commissioning of COLGAR guillotine lines is going to start at Inprom-Krasnoyarsk, and soon after that the service of precise flat products cutting will be available for our customers in the region. This service-range enables our clients not only to obtain high-quality billet and sections, but also save time and cut down on expenditure, as well as get rid of steel discard problem.
