
Vyksa Steel Works has announced the company for the first time in its history shipped 92 tonnes of large diameter pipes in August. For comparison a similar indicator VSW closely approached only once in March 2007 when the productions of 90,700 tonnes were shipped 87.8 tonnes.
The release said that since 2009 VSW produced 630,435 tonnes of LDP which is 30.8% more compared to the same period in 2008. The market share of the company compared to 2008 year increased from 35% to almost 60%.
Mr Alexander Barykov head of the complex production of LDP said “In August the team has shown what can. High production rates showed all the areas. And this is not the limit. Planck is high, but we are ready for new tasks.”
VSW produces and delivers large diameter pipes for large oil and gas projects. These include the North European Gas Pipeline Nord Stream the second phase of the Baltic Pipeline System, Vankor field. In August completed delivery of the LDP on the draft Central Asia to China is continuing shipment of the project Bovanenkovo-Ukhta, started production of pipes for the construction of gas pipeline in Nigeria and Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok. In September, VSW will start production of the LDP project Chigil-Nishan. Currently OMC participating in tenders for the supply of pipes for the second turn Nord Stream and the East Siberia to Pacific Ocean.
