Recently OMK has been certified in accordance to DNV standards for this new international project.

The certificate of conformity was issued based on results of tests on an experimental batch of pipes. The range of pipes: 813õ39.0mm, SAWL 450SD, 813o37.4mm SAWL 485 SD according to DNV-OS-F101.

OMK became the first Russian pipe producer to be certified according to DNV for production of pipes for underwater pipelines in 2007.OMK has supplied 480 km of 1153õ34-41mm pipes for the unique Nord Stream pipeline.

OMK has gained a wide experience in supplies of pipes for underwater pipeline including Varandey in the White Sea, Baidaratskaya Guba, Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok and Dzhubga-Lazarevskoe-Sochi.
