OMZ’s IZ-ZMK Concludes Contract with Power Machines OJSC to Supply Metal Components for La Yeska and Boguchansk Hydro Power Plants

OMZ reports that IZ-ZMK a part of OMZ Group has concluded a contract with Power Machines OJSC for the supply of metal components for rotors and stators of La Yesca hydro power plant of Mexico and Boguchansk hydro power plant of Russia.

According to the terms of the contract IZ-ZMK is to produce and ship two sets of metal components for La Yesca plant and three sets for Boguchansk plant. Total weight is over 1,500 tonne. The equipment is to be delivered in December 2009. The contract’s value is more than RUR 100 million (USD 2.85 million).

IZ-ZMK manufactured five analogous sets of components for hydro power plants in the course of its cooperation with Power Machines OJSC in 2008.
