Orsk refinery boosts processing 2pct in 2011

Interfax reported that OJSC Orsknefteorgsintez, or Orsk Oil Refinery processed 5.253 million tonnes of crude oil last year up by 2.3%YoY.

That included 4.93 million tonnes of oil and 323,100 tonnes of gas condensate. The selection of light oil products was 48.79% and depth of refining was 59.45%.

The refinery turned out 741,900 tonnes of gasoline last year, including 80,500 tonnes of Premium-95, 398,900 tonnes of Regular-92 and 262,500 tonnes of Normal-80. The facility also produced 1,507 million tonnes of diesel fuel, 272,300 tonnes of jet fuel and 56,200 tonnes of lubricating oils.

Orsknefteorgsintez is the biggest oil refinery in Orenburg Region, able to process 6.6 million tonnes of crude annually.
