It is reported that Ukraine consumed 1.1 million tonnes of steel products in the Q1 down by 53.9%YoY. Meanwhile, the steel import volume in the Q1 was 102,860 tonnes down by 81.6%YoY.

Ukraine steel pipe mill purchased 320,458 tonnes steel from domestic and oversea market in the first three months down by 45.5%YoY; the construction company purchased 16,509 tonnes down by 73%YoY; railway manufacturer purchased 5,605 tonnes down by 77.6%YoY, hardware industry purchased 71,375 tonnes down by 59.5%YoY.

The steel wholesaler purchased 317,513 tonnes down by 61.6%YoY; mining and metallurgy industry consumed 201,990 tonnes down by 18.3%YoY machine manufacturer consumed 137,833 tons down by 68.1%YoY.
