Interfax-Ukraine citing Mr Serhiy Krasulia spokesman of Bogdan as saying that Bogdan Corporation, one of the largest operators on the car market of Ukraine in January to July 2010 produced 518 buses and trolleybuses at its plants in Cherkasy and Lutsk which is almost three times up on 2009.

In July 105 buses and trolleybuses were produced in Cherkasy and Lutsk which is 6.1% up on June 2010 and 4.2 times up on July 2009.

The corporation press secretary said that the increase in bus production is caused by the corporation's active export policy. He also noted that the corporation is sticking to its plans to produce 1,300 buses and trolleybuses this year which would be 2.2 times up on 2009.
