Ukrainian News Agency reported that Mr Dmitry Firtash co owner of the RosUkrEnergo Company has accused the Naftohaz Ukrainy national joint stock company of non fulfillment of its obligation on extraction of the transit natural gas from the underground gas storage facilities.
He said that Naftohaz Ukrainy does not fulfilling its obligations. We have appealed at the Stockholm court against Naftohaz and are anticipating the ruling.
Mr Firtash said that a total of 11 billion cubic meters of the disputable gas kept in the underground gas storage facilities belongs to RosUkrEnergo and the fuel is under the temporary customs control in Ukraine. He said that this gas has nothing to do with Ukraine, thus all these 11 billion should be sent to Europe.
On the whole, Mr Firtash called the actions of the Naftohaz Ukrainy incorrect and accused the national joint stock company of the insufficient delivery of the fuel to Poland and Hungary.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported that Ms Yulia Tymoshenko PM of Ukraine as saying the Naftohaz Ukrainy national joint stock company, not RosUkrEnergo, purchased 11 billion cubic meters of natural gas kept in the underground gas storage facilities from the Russia's gas monopoly Gazprom, at the price of USD 153,900 per cubic meters.
RosUkrEnergo denies sale of gas to Naftohaz Ukrainy, it states that the company still owns over 10 billion cubic meters of gas. Naftohaz Ukrainy obliges use these funds to pay for rights for claims of Gazprom and its subsidiaries and affiliates to RosUkrEnergo, conceded to Naftohaz Ukrainy.
