It is reported that the net profit of OJSC Rosneft for Q3 2011 as per US GAAP increased by 9.7% to USD 2.818 billion from USD 2.568 billion the year before.

The sales revenue increased by 59.2% to USD 24.627 billion from USD 15.471 billion, EBITDA by 13.9% to USD 5.283 billion from USD 4.638 billion the operating profit by 14.9% to USD 3.693 billion from USD 3.213 billion.

OJSC Rosneft is the largest oil company in the Russian Federation. Rosneft proved reserves as of December 31 2010 were 22.765 billion barrels of oil equivalent. In 2010, Rosneft extracted 112.4 million tons of oil.

The company authorized capital is RUB 105.981 million. This amount is represented by 10,598,177,810 common shares at par value RUB 0.01. The company largest shareholder is the state-owned company Rosneftegaz securing 75.16% of its authorized capital.
