RIA Novosti reported that RusHydro, Russia largest hydropower producer posted an IFRS net profit of CNY 21.46 billion in the first half of 2010 up by 9.8%YoY.

The company said profits from RusHydro current activities rose 19.3% to RUB 29.25 billion. EBITDA rose 12.9%YoY to RUB 34.851 billion.

The firm attributed the results to a growth in overall sales including a growth in the share of sales of electricity in the non-regulated price sector.
