It is reported that the Russian steel and mining company Severstal is considering building a new iron ore briquette plant in Canada.
As per report, the new iron ore briquette plant would be constructed in the area neighboring the port of Sept-Îles in Quebec and would be expected to produce briquettes with an iron content of over 90% which would replace scrap in the production of steel. The plant would use the most modern and environmentally-friendly technologies to minimize waste levels.
