
Russia UMMC invests in ore concentration plant in Bashkortostan
It is reported that Russia based Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company plans to invest RUB 10 billion in the construction of a new ore concentration plant in the Russian federal republic of Bashkortostan.
The complex will initially process around 1.5 million tonnes of ore per year with 20% copper concentrate and 50% zinc concentrate to be produced in the future. In the current year, UMMC plans to increase its cathode copper production to up to 380,000 tonnes.
