Itar Tass reported that Russia’s Atomstroiexport and Bulgaria’s National Electric Company have signed 3 month agreement that allows to continue the project on the construction of the Belene nuclear power plant.

An official at the Russian embassy in Bulgaria said that the companies succeed in coordinating their positions on the yet to be nuclear power plant. Within three months the sides should coordinate all points at issue including additional measures to ensure the plant’s safe operation and the project’s cost.
