RIA Novosti reported that Russia and India will cooperate on jointly developing liquefied natural gas projects including in third countries.

Russia and India will encourage cooperation in several areas, including joint projects on exploration and development, transportation, refining, purification, storage, sales and usage of oil and gas developing joint LNG projects.

The two countries will also cooperate in underground coal gasification and may establish joint ventures to produce, refine and transport oil and gas.
