
Interfax citing Mr Putin's spokesman Mr Dmitry Peskov said the Russian and Slovenian prime ministers, Mr Vladimir Putin and Mr Borut Pahor discussed trade and business contacts between the two countries during a telephone conversation on Tuesday.
Mr Peskov said "The heads of government addressed key aspects of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and praised the progress made in implementing mutual agreements as part of the South Stream project."
The spokesman said Mr Putin and Mr Pahor also discussed a schedule for meetings between high ranking officials of Russia and Slovenia for the start of 2011.
