According to the country's customs statistics, in October of the current year, Russia exported 1.12 million tonnes of semi finished steel products down 1.4% compared to October 2011 and decreasing by 9.4% compared to September this year.

In the January to October period of the current year, Russian exports of semi-finished steel products increased by 21% YoY to 12.48 million tonnes.
