Russian zeroes out export duty for oil from Eastern Siberian fields

Interfax reported that Russia set a zero export duty on oil extracted at 13 fields in Eastern Siberia effective December 1st.

Mr Vladimir Putin Prime Minister of Russia has signed the resolution that zeroes out the export duty on November 26th.

The resolution sets the regular export duty on crude oil at USD 271 per tonne from December 1st.

The Russian government sets export tariffs on oil and petroleum products by monitoring prices for Russian oil on European markets. The monitoring runs from the 15th of a month to the 14th of the next month.
