Interfax reported that the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic sold 5.593 billion cubic meters of gas on the domestic market in January to September 2011 up by 10.1%YoY.

SOCAR said 3.808 billion cubic meters of the total was sold to JSC Azerenergy up by 6.7%, 1.327 billion cubic meters to households up by 2.7%, 814.2 million cubic meters to the industrial sector up by 21.5% and 153.5 million cubic meters to the public sector down by 4.5%.

The production unit Nakhchyvangaz received 217.7 million cubic meter of gas in January to September up by 3.1-fold.

SOCAR sold 463 million cubic meters of gas on the domestic market in September including 311.8 mcm to Azerenergy, 61.5 million cubic meters to households, 64 million cubic meters to the industrial sector, 3 million cubic meters to the public sector and 22.7 million cubic meters to Nakhchyvangaz.
