Interfax reported that Vladivostok-based automobile plant LLC SOLLERS-Far East boosted production of SsangYong SUVs by 32.3%YoY to 14,857 vehicles in January to June 2012.

Last year, the enterprise produced 25,100 SUVs or 83% more than in 2010. The plan for 2012 is 29,300 vehicles. The plant currently assembles four models of SsangYong SUVs Kyron, Rexton, New Actyon and Actyon Sports.

Sollers Group manages the Ulyanovsk Automotive Plant, Zavolzhsky Motor Plant, SOLLERS-Naberezhniye Chelny, SOLLERS-Elabuga and SOLLERS-Far East. Sollers produces UAZ, Isuzu and SsangYong models in Russia.
