Slowdown signs - KamAZ incurs RUB 2.6 billion in IFRS losses in 2009

Interfax reported that Russian truck maker OJSC KamAZ turned RUB 2.579 billion in net losses last year versus RUB 1.065 billion in 2008 net profits.
The report said sales revenues decreased 36.8% to RUB 60.894 billion.
In mid April a company representative said that IFRS sales revenues had fallen 36% to RUB 96.3 billion in 2009 while net losses were RUB 3.4 billion.
The net debt/EBITDA ratio was 19.1.
KamAZ operating losses came to RUB 1.767 billion in 2009.
