According to the data issued by the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association Ukrautoprom, in January to May 2010 Ukrainian automakers produced 24,207 vehicles down by 19%YoY.

In particular, during the period in question local automakers produced 21,300 cars down by 26%YoY, 909 buses up by 2.4 times and 1,997 trucks up by 2.9 times.

In May this year, Ukrainian automakers saw a slower output growth compared with the previous months, registering an increase in their output by only 1%MoM to 6,784 vehicles including 6,031 cars up by 3% MoM, 541 trucks down by 16% MoM and 212 buses up by 2%MoM.
