
Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) and Ekaterinburg Gallery of Modern Art opened an exhibition of paintings, "Annals of the modern factory", dedicated to Sinarsky pipe plant (SinTZ), part of the TMC.
The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy Vitaly Mutko, Sverdlovsk Governor Alexander Misharin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TMK Dmitry Pumpyansky, Mayor Michael Kamensk-Ural Astakhov and Managing Director of "SinTZ" Sergei Chetverikov.
This is the second phase of the joint artistic project PMC and Ekaterinburg Gallery of Modern Art. In June 2010, the museum complex Seversky Tube Works (STZ, is part of TMC) opened the first exhibition of paintings "Chronicle of a modern plant." The main idea of the project - to capture in art the modern stage of a metallurgical plant.
As a result, the corporate collection of FCZ appeared 35 pictures that are currently on display at the museum complex "Seversk blast furnace" (Polevskoy) and are available for viewing factory workers, residents and visitors.
In 2011, the project is implemented jointly with Sinarsky pipe plant. It was attended by six young artists - Katherine Poedinschikova, Ivan Snegirev, Cyril Borodin, Sergey Nikolaev, Eugene Goryachev, Maxim Kryukov. Representatives of two art schools in the Urals - Academic (Yekaterinburg) and avant-garde (Nizhny Tagil) reflected in his works are two different views on the modern metal production. The artistic images created by the authors, offer viewers a route for self-reflection and creative exploration seen.
As the managing director Sergei Chetverikov SinTZ, who opened the exhibition, artists were able to pass that the plant - a living organism. "Man opens in new labor poetic colors, remaining the main value to the enterprise and for history", - Sergey Chetverikov.
The exhibition will open in Yekaterinburg until November 13, then the work will be exhibited in Kamensk-Urals, where they can see the factory workers and city residents.
