It is reported that Alstom DV Company said that Transmashholding acquired 51% in TMKH.

Report said that it is a major supplier of facilities for RZHD. TMKH signed a memo on cooperation with Alstom Transport on the strategic partnership. It provides the opportunity for Alstom Transport to acquire 25% +1 in TMKH after the auditing.

As per report the two companies decided to set up JV for the production of two deck carriages. The Russian side has 51%, Alstom Transport 49%. JV is founded to participate in the tender for the delivery of the carriages to RZHD.

Transmashholding covers the entities working in the sector of the railway engineering, diesel generators production, and providing the repair and servicing of the products. In 2007 the holding increased the sales by 20% to reach RUB 66billion.
