Interfax quoted the dispatch center Uztransgaz said Turkmenistan cut off gas exports to Russia for a short time this week for pipeline repair.
A source at the center said "Turkmenistan this week did repair work on its gas pipelines, in association with which there was a short suspension of export gas flow to Russia. Gas delivery has resumed in full now."
The center said the standard daily flow of Turkmen gas to Russia is 30.2 million cubic meters. In the week prior to the suspension of export operations, pipeline deliveries had increased to 37.4 million cubic meters. Drops in flow occurred on September 20 and September 21.
