According to a statement in the Uriadovy Kurier newspaper that, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine has decided to merge National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy and its subsidiary Gaz Ukrainy.

The decision was stipulated in ministry order No 656 of October 27.

The statement said "Gaz Ukrainy announces the cessation of its activities and its joining the successors: Naftogaz Ukrainy and Naftogaz subsidiary Budivelnyk."

Creditors' claims are accepted until January 20 2012.
