Ukrainian Journal cited Mr Vadym Chuprun Deputy CEO of Naftogaz as saying that Ukraine national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrayiny may lease underground gas storage facilities to companies that will produce gas in Ukraine.

He said that "I should also note that we are conducting negotiations not only regarding cooperation in the production of non-traditional hydrocarbon sources, but also in other areas. In particular, the company ExxonMobil has shown interest in utilizing our underground gas storage facilities."
