
It is reported that Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant, the largest Ukrainian ferroalloy producer has announced that in 2010 it produced more than 914,000 tonnes of manganese ferroalloys up about 39%YoY and that in 2011 it plans to decrease its output to 878,000 tonnes.
For the implementation of its development program, in 2010 NZF invested UAH 300 million while in 2011 total financing is planned at UAH 314 million.
In 2009, NZF's ferroalloys output decreased by about 19%YoY to 659,700 tonnes. NZF's production capacities allow it to produce one million tonnes of silicomanganese per year, 250,000 tonnes per year of high carbon ferromanganese, and more than 15,000 tonnes per year of medium carbon ferromanganese
