Interfax citing Mr Al-Baghdadi Ali al-Mahmudi has said Secretary of the General People Committee (Prime Minister) of Libya as saying that Ukraine and Libya are planning to intensify their trade and economic relations.

The information and communications department of the Ukrainian government secretariat reported, he announced this at a meeting with Mr Mykola Azarov Ukrainian Prime Minister in Libya recently.

The secretary said after the meeting that "The political dialog between our countries is developing well, and now our task is to intensify the trade and economic relations between our countries."

He said that the projects discussed with the Ukrainian prime minister would be successfully implemented.
