According to the data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company, in the first seven months of the current year Ukraine scrap exports decreased by 14%YoY to 353,980 tonnes.

In July alone, Ukraine scrap exports decreased by 35.8% compared to June falling to 38,140 tonnes. In addition, according to the same source, in January to July Ukrainian exports of pig iron increased by 20.4%YoY to 1.022 million tonnes.

In July alone, exports of pig iron from Ukraine increased by 1.8% compared to June rising to 145,990 tonnes.
