According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in the January to June period of the current year, Ukraine registered a 15.2% increase YoY in its flat steel imports to 453,980 tonnes. In June alone, Ukraine flat steel imports decreased by 28.5% compared to May falling to 79,630 tonnes.

On the other hand, in the first six months of the current year Ukraine flat steel exports decreased by 9.2%YoY to 3.586 million tonnes. In June alone, Ukraine flat steel exports decreased by 15.7% compared to May decreasing to 602,210 tonnes.
